So, I'm sitting on the couch bitching about the world and Kevin looks at me and says... "You know, my name is Annakin." Annakin, I say. He then proceeds to swing his finger around while making lightsaber noises. Had to be the hardest I have laughed in a good long time. He is a motherfucker, no?

Well. I just found out we signed Ausmus to 2 more years. This is a mixed blessing. On the one hand he is great with a staff. On the other he isn't with the bat. Could be worse, could be better. At least my girlfriend is happy and I will be with Andy.

A-Rod as MVP... travesty.

It is my undersatnding that the Hank Aaron award is for the best overall player and A-Rod won that the last three years in a row or something like that. MVP is for the most VALUABLE player or it would just be the Best Player award. A-Rod was so valuable his contract limited the Rangers to 71 wins. If he took less money then the Rangers could win a championship with his help. But... alas... he is too valuable to do this. Valuable... my opinion... should translate to more than straight stats. The Rangers never even competed let alone won a wild card. How valubale could he have been. If he had not been there would the Rangers still have finished last. Maybe, but maybe not. So how is he the most valuable player?
